 ই-মিউটেশনটি বর্তমান সরকারের ভিশন ২০২০ অর্জনে এবং ভূমি সেবার ক্ষেত্রে স্বচ্ছতা ও জবাবদিহিতা নিশ্চিত করে একটি ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশ গঠনে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করবে।

 তিন পার্বত্য জেলা বাদে সারা দেশে ই-মিউটেশন প্রয়োগ করা হচ্ছে।  আইসিটি বিভাগের এ ২ আই প্রকল্প এই লক্ষ্যে প্রযুক্তিগত সহায়তা প্রদান করে।

 ভূমি সংস্কার বোর্ডের পরিচালনায় সহকারী কমিশনার (ভূমি) এর মাধ্যমে এটি বাস্তবায়ন করা হচ্ছে।
