Scientists have expressed frustration with corona patients' antibodies

No successful vaccine for the deadly coronavirus (Covid-19) has yet been discovered. So the antibodies in the body of the patients are now the hope of survival. However, new research says that the level of antibodies in the body of patients who recover from Kovid-19 tends to decrease rapidly. Antibodies decrease within two to three months of being infected.
Chinese scientists have obtained such information by conducting research on the body of 19 patients with and without symptoms. This raises questions about the stability of the body's immune system against the novel coronavirus. The research article was published in the journal Nature Medicine on June 18.
Earlier, researchers said that those who have corona antibodies in their body have no problem moving outside. At present, efforts are being made to treat other Covid-19 patients with plasma antibodies in humans who have recovered from Covid-19. At this very moment, the researchers gave such information about the antibodies of Kovid-19 patients.
A study of blood antibodies in a total of 74 corona patients, 36 with symptoms and 36 with no symptoms, found that patients who had covid were identified in the presence of IgG antibodies (a type of antibody that is made after infection)In 90 percent of the patients, the level of antibodies in the body has dropped drastically in two-three monthsAntibodies have dropped by half in 80 percent of patients. Of those who had corona symptoms, 11.6 percent had antibodies, and of those who did not have symptoms, 6.3 percent had antibodies.
The study was conducted by Chongqing Medical University, a branch of China's Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
However, Jin Dong-yan, a professor in the Department of Virology at the University of Hong Kong (did not take part in the study), did not give up on the study. He said the study did not rule out lower levels of IgG antibodies, but did rule out other parts of the body's immune system.
He says that when someone first becomes infected, some cells become active in adapting to the virus, and these cells can develop an effective immune system even if they become infected in the second stage.
However, scientists are continuing to study whether this is also the case with coronavirus.
This study does not mean that the sky is falling over the head, the professor said. This is because research has been done on a very small number of patients
