বাংলাদেশের ইতিহাসে প্রথমবারের মতো, মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের শংসাপত্র (এসএসসি) এবং সমমানের পরীক্ষার ফলাফল পরীক্ষার্থীদের বা তাদের অভিভাবকের মোবাইল ফোনে এসএমএসের মাধ্যমে পৌঁছাবে।

এ বিষয়ে শিক্ষা বোর্ডগুলি এসএমএসের মাধ্যমে প্রার্থীদের প্রাক-নিবন্ধন শুরু করেছে। শিক্ষা বোর্ড দুল ফিতরের আগে এসএসসি এবং সমমানের পরীক্ষার ফলাফল প্রকাশের সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।

কর্তৃপক্ষগুলি করোনভাইরাস মহামারীটির পটভূমির বিরুদ্ধে এই উদ্যোগ নিয়েছিল।

ঢাকা শিক্ষা বোর্ডের সিনিয়র সিস্টেম বিশ্লেষক মনজুরুল কবির বলেন, এটিই প্রথমবারের মতো আমরা প্রার্থীদের প্রাক-নিবন্ধন করছি এবং তাদের ফলাফল তাদের মোবাইল ফোনে প্রেরণ করব।

ঢাকা শিক্ষা বোর্ডের চেয়ারম্যান অধ্যাপক জিয়াউল হক বলেছেন, ফলাফল প্রকাশের জন্য তাদের সব ধরণের প্রস্তুতি রয়েছে। চাঁদ দেখার বিষয় সাপেক্ষে, ২৪ বা ২৫ মে ঈদুল ফিতর উদযাপিত হবে বলে কর্মকর্তারা জানিয়েছেন।

আন্তঃ বোর্ড সমন্বয় কমিটির প্রধান জিয়াউলও বলেছিলেন যে এ বছর শিক্ষার্থীরা শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান থেকে তাদের ফলাফল সংগ্রহ করতে পারবে না।

সরকার ১৭ ই মার্চ থেকে ৩১ শে মার্চ পর্যন্ত সকল শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান বন্ধ করে দিয়েছিল। পরে এই শাটডাউনটি ৩০ মে পর্যন্ত বাড়ানো হয়েছিল।

এর আগে সরকার ৮ই মে ফলাফল প্রকাশের পরিকল্পনা করেছিল, তবে স্কুল বন্ধ থাকার কারণে এটি প্রকাশ করতে পারেনি।

গত আট বছরে প্রথমবারের মতো, সরকার কোনও পাবলিক পরীক্ষা শেষ করার ৬০ দিনের মধ্যে ফলাফল প্রকাশ করতে পারবে না।

এই বছর, এসএসসি পরীক্ষা ৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি শুরু হয়েছিল, তাত্ত্বিক এবং ব্যবহারিক পরীক্ষা যথাক্রমে ২৭ ফেব্রুয়ারি এবং ৬ মার্চ শেষ হয়েছিল।

প্রায় ২০,৪৭,৭৭৯ জন শিক্ষার্থী ৩,৫১২ কেন্দ্রে এসএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষায় অংশ নিয়েছিল।

মনজুরুল কবির বলেছিলেন যে বিগত বছরগুলির মতো ফলাফলও বোর্ডের ওয়েবসাইটে পাওয়া যাবে।
